2026 Be the Good 5k/10k

Join us for the inaugural **Be the Good 5K & 10K** on Saturday, June 20, 2026, at Ben Brenman Park in Alexandria, VA, with races starting at 7:45 AM. This family-friendly event welcomes participants of all ages, whether you're achieving a personal best, walking with friends, or supporting a child's first 5K. Hosted by Bishop's Events, renowned for organized races benefiting local charities, 25% of profits will support the **Be the Good Project**, a nonprofit tackling food insecurity in our community through volunteerism.

The scenic course features a beautiful paved path with views of the pond and Holmes Run waterway, and we'll chip-time all participants. Runners can opt for a virtual race if they can't attend in person. Registration fees are $30 for the 5K and $45 for the 10K until May 31, with a price increase on race day. Each participant will receive a finisher’s medal, a technical (Dri-fit) event shirt, and awards will be given to the top three overall men and women, as well as in various age categories.
