Summer Reading Kick-off Celebration

Join us in Library Cove on Wednesday, June 24 from 5:30-7:30 pm for a family-friendly Summer Reading Kick-off Celebration with musical performances, food trucks, lawn games and more! Delight in the musical talents of Providence Drum Troupe (PDT) , a dynamic band of musicians and performers who demonstrate that living in harmony is not an antiquated notion! Connecting creative forces for the greater good, PDT encourages children and children-at-heart to participate, dance and celebrate being alive in this truly wondrous world. As part of the festivities, make sure to sign up for the Barrington Public Library Summer Reading Challenge, a user-friendly ALL ages online reading challenge with terrific prizes. Or support the Friends of Barrington Public Librarys Pop-up Book Sale! All proceeds directly support Barrington Public Library programs. Bring something to sit on, enjoy food from one of our food trucks (or pack your own) and gather with us for this incredible Summer Reading kick-off celebration! Free and open to all.
