Details:
Join us for Artspace's First Friday, a monthly celebration held on the first Friday of each month from 5 PM to 10 PM in Downtown Raleigh, showcasing the vibrant creative community. Artspace, a founding organization of this event, opens its doors for a night filled with new exhibitions, hands-on art activities, and the chance to meet and shop with over 30 studio artists, including 10 newcomers.
The July First Friday features exhibitions such as "Where We Work Now," showcasing artists like Jane Cheek and Adam D. Cohen, and "Portrait of a Conversation" with Connie Sales, the 2026 Universal Access Artist in Residence, who will hold an informal Q&A from 5:30-6:30 PM. Additionally, "A Taste of Your Love" by Nori McDuffie will include an artist talk from 4-5 PM.
Enjoy a sensory-friendly hour from 5-6 PM, offering a quieter environment with no amplified music, making it accessible for everyone. All activities are free and open to all ages. For more information about Artspace and upcoming events, visit artspacenc.org/.
