Details:
The Buckeye Trail affords hikers the chance to see Ohio as it is today, but also to become aware of Ohio’s rich human and natural past. A look at the Morgan’s Raid of 1863 and how it intersects the trail shows us how to use the trail and hiking to understand better what came before us.
Jonathan Winkler is Professor of History at Wright State University, where he teaches U.S. military and diplomatic history.
This program is sponsored by the Washington County Public Library, and is FREE and open to the public. The event will be live streamed on our YouTube channel: @CampusMartiusMuseum
