Free Family Arts Day @ AMSET

The Art Museum of Southeast Texas invites families and visitors of all ages to Free Family Arts Day: “Don’t Mess with Texas, Mess with Art” on Saturday, August 15, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. This fun, family-friendly event is free and open to the public.
Inspired by recycling, this Family Arts Day encourages guests to think about how everyday objects can be transformed into works of art. Visitors will explore the museum, participate in hands-on art-making activities, and discover creative ways to reuse, reimagine, and recycle.
Throughout the day, families can enjoy art activities designed for all ages, gallery fun, and family-friendly entertainment. All materials will be provided, and no registration is required.
