Grab your helmet and pedal to the museum lawn to join our monthly summer bike tours.
Every Third Thursday, June through August, museum staff and community experts will bike through areas of Anchorage, making stops at local sites of interest based on an exhibition-related theme. This tour is co-hosted with Anchorage historian David Reamer and artist Duke Russell, spinning stories about everyday Anchorage with a special focus on Spenard.
Free. Tour begins at the Anchorage Museum and covers four to eight miles; may not be suitable for all riders. Meet at 5 p.m.; ride begins at 5:30 p.m. rain or shine. In partnership with Bike Anchorage.
