Details:
Join us for an exhilarating weekend of flight at the combined HFT Float Fly and the 42nd Annual Mid-America Electric Fly-in, scheduled for July 11 & 12, 2026, in Salem Township, MI. This event, hosted by Electric Flyers Only and the Ann Arbor Falcons, will spotlight electric flight with an Open Swap Shop on Saturday. Participants can engage in the Weak Signals Precision Aerobatics Contest alongside the Celina Flying Sportsman Big Bird event, with registration beginning at 8 am and flying starting at 9 am each day. Attendees can enjoy practice on Friday using a paved runway equipped with electricity, with indoor restrooms available.
The event also features the 47th MMM 14-Rounder, a prestigious two-day FAI competition offering multiple AMA, NFFS, and SAM events, where contestants vie for the Centennial and Columbine Cups. Additionally, the Molalla Pattern Contest will cater to Sportsman through F3A flying classes, with the entry fee set at $50, while Sportsman registration is free. Lunch will be offered on-site for a nominal fee, and primitive camping is available for participants.
Remember, flying is only permitted after 9 am each day. For further details, contact Ken Myers at kmyersefo@mac.com or visit themepeer.org. Don’t miss this thrilling opportunity to connect with fellow aviation enthusiasts!
