Details:
Join the Town of Dillon and the Raptor Education Foundation for a free afternoon of nature education at the Dillon Amphitheater. This engaging program, lasting fifty minutes, features live presentations of an eagle, hawk, falcon, and owl, focusing on their biology, ecology, and cultural history. Audience members will learn what defines a bird of prey as a raptor and how different species are distinguished, while discovering that not all birds of prey are raptors. Throughout the event, smaller birds will be brought through the audience for close-up views and photos. The program concludes with a brief question session, allowing visitors to get even closer to one or two raptors for memorable photographs.
