Teen Café @ Mark Twain

Join us for a series of engaging events on Tuesday, July 14, 2026, throughout Long Beach!

Starting the day at the Michelle Obama Neighborhood Library, from 1 to 2 PM, parents and children are invited to "Dive into Parenting," a fun playdate featuring a felt craft for both kids and caregivers. Later, from 4 to 5 PM, teens aged 13-18 can participate in the "Teen Art Series" at the same library, where they'll learn to upcycle books into beautiful paper garlands.

Additionally, at the Brewitt Neighborhood Library from 3 to 4 PM, kids ages 3-12 can enjoy "Kids’ Crafternoon: Mini Fences," where they will craft and decorate miniature fence murals.

The day also features "Teen Café" at the Mark Twain Neighborhood Library from 4 to 5 PM, where teens can hang out and engage in crafts and activities.

All events are part of a summer crafting series organized by the Long Beach Public Library, and language access accommodations are available upon request. For more information, please contact the relevant library departments.
