Scraps of Summer: Junk Journaling @ BJK Main

Billie Jean King Main Library, 200 W. Broadway 90802 Tuesday, July 21, 2026, 5:30 – 6:30pm Capture the colors, memories, and little moments of the season through the art of junk journaling. Using decorative papers, stickers, stamps, magazine clippings, maps, and other creative materials, you'll design unique journal pages inspired by summer adventures, favorite books, nature, and personal reflections. Participants are encouraged to bring their own photos, ticket stubs, postcards, notes, or other meaningful keepsakes to incorporate into their journals and make them even more personal. Whether you're an experienced journaler or trying it for the first time, this relaxed and creative workshop is a wonderful way to celebrate the season and preserve your summer story.
