On June 10, 2026, the Billie Jean King Main Library will host "Computer Basics" from 3 to 4:30 PM, aimed at individuals new to computers. Participants will learn essential skills in a relaxed environment, including how to turn on a computer, use the mouse and keyboard, open programs, and get started online. Concurrently, from 3 to 4 PM, the Long Beach Workforce Innovation Network will offer two online workshops: "LBWIN Online Orientation" and "Resume Writing & Interview Preparation Webinar," both designed for adults seeking guidance in career development. Later, from 4 to 5 PM, the LBWIN Youth Career Services Center will present "LBWIN Explore Your Future: Career Discovery" at 508 W. Willow St., focusing on career opportunities for adults and teens. Additionally, at 1 to 2 PM, the El Dorado Neighborhood Library will have its monthly Book Club, encouraging discussions about books, suitable for adults, including those aged 55 and over. All events will provide language access and reasonable accommodations upon request.
