Spirited: Art of the Cocktail - Artist Call & Opening Reception

The relationship between a stunning piece of art and a good drink is often understated. That's why, as we grow closer to the date of our annual ARTini Fundraiser on October 3rd, 2026, we invite local artists to celebrate both Art & Cocktails with an open artist call showcasing The Art of the Cocktail, which will be on display at Live Casino & Hotel Louisiana!
The theme is simple - every piece must incorporate a cocktail in some way, whether it be the focal piece or just a garnishment for the rest of the work! Imbibe in the libations for this open call and show us what you can mix up this August!
Information for participants:
- ALL Works MUST be for sale. We will not accept $0 or NFS labels.
- You must have an active BAC Membership in order to submit.
- All artwork must follow the theme of "Spirited" and include a cocktail in some fashion.
- The submission limit on this call is two works of art per artist. We reserve the right to reject any items that do not adhere to exhibit guidelines of the Bossier Arts Council.
- All artwork must be submitted with the completed form
- Unless you receive a message stating otherwise, assume your work is accepted upon submission. If your work ends up juried out due to theme issues or size limitations, you will be contacted ahead of the show date.
- All entered works must be installation-ready.
- The Submission Deadline & Drop-Off Date is Saturday, August 1st by 5 PM
- The Display Dates are August 8th - October 3rd
- The Opening Reception is Thursday, August 13th from 6pm - 8pm
The Pick-Up Date is Tuesday, October 6th
