Details:
Join us for a creative workshop, "Vintage Trinket Shadow Box," hosted by the Salvation Artists Collective at RCLC. In this hands-on class, you’ll learn to craft a unique shadow box using a curated selection of upcycled vintage trinkets and ephemera. With guidance from instructor Tess Davis, an experienced artist with a passion for nostalgic materials, you’ll explore various combinations of items to create a personal framed artwork full of charm and story. Materials will be provided, but feel free to bring your own special trinkets to incorporate!
The class, supported by the Seattle Office of Economic Development and Seattle Public Utilities, is offered at a reduced rate as part of the Seattle REconomy’s Community Tool Chest fundraiser for the new Lake City location. Limited spots are available, so please RSVP, and if you can’t attend, kindly cancel to allow others a chance to participate.
Accessibility options include wheelchair access and an ADA compliant restroom. Non-English and ASL interpreters are welcome to accompany attendees. For transportation, the venue is accessible by bus and bike, with limited parking available. Children may attend with a guardian on a case-by-case basis. Contact info@seattlereconomy.org for any questions regarding participation or accessibility.
