John Barleycorn Must Live is a once in a blue moon assemblage of some of the finest instrumentalists and singers in the Boston area, they convene every so often to perform the music of Traffic, Steve Winwood and Dave Mason. And when they do, it is an event.
Comprised of diverse artists, writers, and performers in their own right, this is not so much a tribute band, as an ensemble that gets together when the stars align, in order to keep it fresh and vibrant, and with everybody working on original music.
They don't get together often - but every time they do is a major happening.
