Rocks and Fossils Day

Join us for an exciting celebration of geology and paleontology at our Rocks and Fossils Day and Dino Days at the Sherman Museum! Calling all rock hounds and fossil enthusiasts—bring your unique finds to the museum for expert evaluation, whether they’re backyard treasures or cherished collectibles. Admission is just $5 for guests aged 6 and older, while children under 5 and first responders can enter for free. This fun-filled day of discovery runs from 10 AM to 3 PM, with no appointment necessary. Plus, don’t miss Dino Days, running from May 27 to August 22, 2026, every Wednesday to Saturday from 10 AM to 4 PM. Enjoy exploring, learning, and sharing your discoveries with us!
