Cost: KHS Members - $200; Non-members - $220 The founding of the United States and Kentucky was a revolutionary experiment in self-governance. Throughout the week, campers will delve into the lives of Kentucky’s founding mothers and fathers and explore how the Revolution influenced our state! Campers will: Visit historic sites in downtown Frankfort View colonial artifacts in the archives of the Kentucky Historical Society Investigate the diverse groups that inhabited Kentucky prior to Colonial settlement Experience frontier life through hands-on activities like printmaking and quilting Join us in celebrating America’s 250th birthday while discovering the rich beginnings of Kentucky! *This camp is designed for children between the ages of 10 and 13.
