Levitt AMP St. Johnsbury: Mark Taylor

Details:

The Levitt AMP St. Johnsbury Music Series presents Nashville’s own Mark Taylor, Sunday, July 26th, at Dog Mountain. The young country star takes the stage at 5pm, adding his 90s-inspired, feelgood brand of country pop to the free weekly concert series.

Hosted by Catamount Arts and community partners, the Levitt AMP St. Johnsbury Music Series will bring free family-friendly concerts to Dog Mountain, every Sunday, at 5pm, from July 12th through the month of August. Dogs are welcome!

With smooth vocals and soulful melodies, Mark Taylor has taken Music City by storm. He’s opened shows, fairs, and festivals for superstars including Big & Rich, Lainey Wilson, and LOCASH, earning hearty praise from members of REM, the Doobie Brothers, Steely Dan, and Collective Soul. His hit single, “I’m Down,” peaked at #11 on one fan-voted country chart, and he’s capturing the hearts of steadfast fans worldwide.

Mark Taylor’s concert at Dog Mountain is free and open to everyone—including dogs. Patrons are encouraged to bring a blanket or a low beach chair, sunscreen, and water, but leave the alcohol at home. Beer, wine, and cocktails will be available for purchase at the St. Johnsbury Distillery beer garden on site; bringing alcohol from off-site is strictly prohibited. Patrons are welcome to pack a picnic dinner or bring cash to grab something from one of the food trucks; there will be at least two food options available for purchase at every Sunday concert.

Overflow parking is available at the Fairbanks Scales parking lot, where RCT will shuttle passengers up to Dog Mountain and back. New this year, RCT will begin shuttling folks from the St. Johnsbury Welcome Center to Dog Mountain every Sunday at 4pm, and then back to the Welcome Center after the concert. Thanks to generous support from RCT, shuttle service to the concert venue is free of charge.

In addition to monthly Sunday concerts at Dog Mountain, Levitt AMP St. Johnsbury will host free concerts at Final Fridays block parties, on the last Friday of June, July, and August, in partnership with Downtown St. Johnsbury. For a full summer of free family-friendly live music, plan to be at Dog Mountain, every Sunday, at 5pm, and don’t miss Final Fridays on Railroad Street!
