Details:
Volunteer @Jamie Palmquist has been organizing street corner protests in various parts of the Twin Cities since Trump's first term. Early in 2025, he started a regular weekly protest on the public sidewalks near the office building housing the headquarters office suite of the Minnesota Republican Party, to appeal to the party leadership and staff to act in good conscience and oppose Trump and Project 2025. This is one of the oldest regular weekly protests in the current Trump term, and you are invited to join us any Thursday from 11:30am to 12:30pm at the intersection of W 74th St and Metro Boulevard in Edina.
Please do NOT park in the parking lot for the office building where the GOP headquarters is. Rather, park in the posted public parking in the Edina Public Works facility across 74th Street, or in the large parking lot at 7401 Metro Boulevard across Metro Boulevard, or in the mostly empty parking lot at 5108 74th St W next to the Post Office facility. This protest deserves to be bigger. It has been very steady for almost an entire year, and we have observed Minnesota Republicans leaving the MAGA coalition, and with more numbers we can encourage more of our neighbors to see the light.
