The M Factor 2: Perimenopause Documentary Screening

Kismet Collective is partnering with Circle Cinema for a special one-night screening of The M Factor 2, a new documentary that shines a light on perimenopause through real women’s stories.
Screening Fri 8/7 at Circle Cinema, 7pm. Tickets $15 for all. Come at 6pm to learn more about Kismet Collective and several other women-owned, local businesses with info tables in the lobby before the film! BEFORE THE PAUSE reveals the hidden reality of perimenopause through the voices of women whose lives are disrupted and dismissed. A teacher is told her symptoms are “all in her head” even as she struggles at home and in the classroom. A firefighter navigates heavy periods with no women’s bathroom in sight. Doctors themselves admit they lack the knowledge to adequately help the patients sitting in front of them. By centering these stories alongside leading experts, the film exposes a systemic blind spot and makes a powerful case for why early awareness can transform women’s health, careers, and sense of self.
