Peer Support Space, Inc.

Peer Support Space, Inc. is a peer-led 501(c)(3) organization founded in February 2019, dedicated to building and serving as a local hub for peer-led recovery communities. The organization utilizes the lived experiences of its members to support, educate, and guide one another through life struggles, mental illness, substance misuse challenges, grief, and other obstacles to mental wellness. They offer free, accessible mental wellness options, focusing on individuals who fall through the cracks of the traditional emotional health system, particularly those in communities with higher rates of challenges and limited access to services. Peer Support Space provides community gatherings (both in-person and virtual), one-on-one peer support, and peer respite services. Their core values include hope, leading with love, mutuality, and self-determination, emphasizing that all individuals have equal value and are experts in their own healing journeys. The organization is run by and for individuals with lived experience and their loved ones.
