Summer Plants & Paints

Join the City of Winter Park's Natural Resources & Sustainability Department for fun in the MLK jr. Learning Garden!Help them paint plant labels for the newest additions and learn how to effectively transplant new additions to your Garden!Using small wooden cut outs, attendees will paint plant labels for our Summer transplants into the Learning Garden. You will be planting Amaranth, Everglades Tomatoes, Sweet Potato, and Perennial Spinach!Attendees will also be able to paint their own Learning Garden coaster to take home. After the labels are all prepped, Staff do a brief transplanting demonstration to follow along with as you add new plants together!Please bring sunscreen and water as this event is entirely in our Learning Garden!
