Details:
A group of twenty-somethings deal with heartache, burnout and digital gloom as they search for meaning, connection and themselves in modern day Los Angeles.
‘People & Things’ is a grounded, intimate story about being young,
uncertain, and quietly overwhelmed in the digital age. It explores the space between who we are and who we thought we’d become—where growth is slow, flaws linger, and meaning isn’ t always obvious.
The film examines fragile hearts, shifting dreams, and the desire to love and be loved in a world where connection of ten feels out of grasp against a modern LA backdrop. Through the intersecting lives of Matt , Luke, Leena, and Annie, the story looks at loneliness, envy, and the uneasy realization that change takes time. At its core, the film encompasses the human need for connection, and the quiet comfort found in admitting that we don’t have it all figured out yet."
