Details:
There are an infinite number of small things all around us that make fascinating photographic subjects. But the techniques necessary to make great images of diminutive subjects are somewhat different than for conventional photography. Following up on his July 14th event introducing Macro Photography, Lester Lefkowitz will live-demonstrate some of the mechanics and hardware used to create successful close-up and macro photographs. These will include use of extension tubes and close-up filters, lighting (indoors and in the field), important tripod features, critical focusing methods, geared heads for perfect composition, small flash techniques, and the use of focusing slides for focusing stacking (watch it in real time!).
