Event Description: Seattle’s Emergency Hubs are practicing our response to an earthquake on Saturday, August 15, from 10am to 1pm. Our scenario is an earthquake (similar to the 2001 Nisqually quake) so we’ve dubbed the exercise “Quake, Rattle, and Roll!”. The public is encouraged to stop by, observe the Hubs in action, learn about disaster preparedness, and (if desired) to play the part of neighbors in need. It's great fun and very informative.
