The Austin County Fair Association, established in 1927, is a community organization dedicated to promoting agriculture, education, and community involvement. Originally known as the Bellville Community Fair Association, it was renamed to encompass the entire county. The fair provides entertainment for all ages, featuring livestock events, a youth auction, a queens contest, a carnival, and PRCA rodeos. The association actively supports youth through scholarships and has grown significantly over the years, now involving hundreds of volunteers, sponsors, and buyers. The fair continues to be a significant event, even operating through World War II, and remains committed to fostering a family-friendly environment and celebrating Austin County.
