Children, families, and classical music lovers are invited to a special free performance at the library this month! Visiting musicians from prestigious institutions like New England Conservatory and New York Philharmonic will play movements from a variety of pieces, discuss the history of quartets, and answer questions. This unique educational opportunity is presented by Halcyon Music Festival, which runs June 11, 12, 13, 18, 19, and 20 at St. John’s Episcopal Church. Now in its twelfth season under founder/artistic director Heng-Jin Park, Halcyon Music Festival aims to create a community where chamber music is explored and presented at the highest artistic level.
