Photorealism in Watercolor Workshop (2 Weeks)
Ready to challenge yourself and see what watercolor is truly capable of? In this two-week workshop, we’ll complete one full photorealistic watercolor painting together from start to finish.
This is a paint-along style workshop where you’ll follow step-by-step as I guide you through the entire process—from the first sketch to the final details. Because photorealistic watercolor takes time, patience, and layers, we dedicate two sessions to one painting so you can slow down and focus on the process without feeling rushed.
Throughout the workshop, we’ll focus on:
• Building realistic depth through layering
• Understanding values and how they create realism
• Creating smooth transitions and soft blends
• Learning how to simplify complex subjects into manageable steps
• Developing patience and confidence with detailed watercolor work
• Knowing when to keep going… and when to stop
This workshop is best suited for students who already have some watercolor experience and are comfortable with basic watercolor techniques.
If you’ve ever looked at a watercolor painting and thought, “There’s no way that’s watercolor,” this class is for you.
