Details:
Elevate your pottery from simple forms to intricate works of art.
This workshop shifts the focus from the wheel to the workbench, treating the leather-hard vessel as a three-dimensional canvas. We will explore a variety of subtractive techniques—from delicate line work to bold architectural fluting—to help you find your unique decorative voice.
Each participant will be provided with a pre-thrown "blank" to carve (included in tuition), though you are encouraged to bring your own leather-hard pieces to experiment with. Additional vessels will be available for purchase for those who wish to keep carving.
Instructor: Blayne Matty
