Intro to Wood Shop

Join us for the **Intro to Wood Shop**, a hands-on beginner-friendly class designed to teach you the basics of safe tool use while creating a custom cheeseboard to take home. Under the guidance of instructor Jeff Halldorson, you will learn to operate essential tools including the Table Saw, Miter Saw, Planer, Belt and Disc Sander, Finish Nailers, and Drill Press. This workshop is open to ages 16 and 17 with a parent or guardian. Please wear non-synthetic clothing (cotton or canvas recommended), long pants, a long or short sleeve shirt, and closed-toe shoes, and remember to bring safety glasses and hearing protection.
