Details:
Join us at Hickory Cove Nature Preserve as we construct a new bridge on Legacy Loop. Volunteers will assist with bridge assembly, installation, and other hands-on tasks that will improve the trail for years to come.
The round-trip hike to the work site is approximately 1.5 miles with 160 feet of elevation gain, so participants should be comfortable hiking and working outdoors.
Come lend a hand and help leave a lasting impact on the trails!
Bug spray, sunscreen, work gloves, eye protection, and water recommended. Complete a separate registration for each individual participating (each person must sign a waiver). Guardians may sign up on behalf of minors. Registration Required.
Due to safety concerns, all volunteers must be at least 12 years old to participate. Participants under 16 years of age must be accompanied by a participating parent or guardian. The Land Trust is committed to the inclusion of all qualified volunteers including those with a disability. However, not all natural work environments are accessible. Please let our volunteer coordinator know the nature of the accommodation needed so that we may make every effort, where possible, to include all in the event.Â
