Details:
Westbound emigrants on the Oregon, California & Mormon Trails eagerly anticipated encountering the unique wildlife of the American West - bison, pronghorn antelope, coyotes, and many other species - including birds!
Join Park Ranger Eric Graves and BCR educator Noelle Grunwald to explore the emigrants’ illustrations and written accounts that captured their first impressions of the wildlife they encountered, as well as discuss the natural history of these remarkable animals, which still inspire visitors to the west today.
Our community of practice is to be an organization that welcomes people of all backgrounds and abilities, regardless of how one identifies, to join in, benefit from, and contribute to our mission
