Growing food to fuel your body!
Come learn about growing your food and how to best use it to serve your body! Grow It, Taste It is an engaging, hands-on series designed to help discover where food comes from and how delicious fresh produce can be. Participants will explore the basics of gardening, learn how to plant and care for simple crops, and then enjoy tasting the fruits-and veggies- of their labor. This fun and educational program encourages healthy habits, builds confidence, and connects gardeners to the joy of growing their own food.
Join us on the fourth Monday evening of every month from March to October at the Extension Learning Center & Garden - located at 502 Court Street, Portsmouth, Ohio 45662. Sessions will be held from 5:30-7:00pm. Sessions are free to attend.
