Palenville Library: Summer Reading Kickoff Event -- "Jurassic Journey Ahead!"!

There is a lot of information to read..sorry! It's all worth it though- we promise!
Every summer we "go big" with this program, and this year we are going bigger than ever because....DINOSAURS!

Selecting "going" or "interested" on this event page will NOT count as registering. We are strict on this because we have a limited # spaces available.
This year's Summer Reading Theme is "Unearth a Story" and we are ready to dig into some amazing craft projects, creative in-house activities, and of course, cool books!
Summer Reading Kickoff Event: Jurassic Journey Ahead (June 29-July 3):
Starting on Monday, June 29, our summer celebration begins! Come register your child(ren) for our FREE summer reading program, pick up your welcome bag jam-packed with goodies, and make your way through all the cool stations of fun that will be set up.
Available for ages 2-13.
IMPORTANT: For this particular event, you MUST bring your child(ren) to the library in order to receive the welcome bag and sign up for the program. During the following weeks, you will be able to pick up the weekly craft packs even if you don't have the kids with you that day!
Days & Times for Kick Off Event:
Monday (6/29): 9:00am-12:00pm
Tuesday (6/30): 11:00am-5:00pm
Wednesday (7/1): 3:00-7:00pm
Thursday (7/2): 11:00am-7:00pm
Friday (7/3): 11:00am-5:00pm
Saturday (7/4): Closed for Holiday
If you are unable to come during those days/times, please indicate this on the registration link using the "comment" box and let us know when you will be able to stop in.
How Summer Reading Works:
Craft Packs: Each week we will distribute a kit with that week's craft project.
Each facebook event will list the dates and times the craft packs can be picked up for that week. Our website will also include the registration link. Registration is REQUIRED EACH week. Sign Up Link will be posted the week prior.
IN-the-LIBRARY Activity: Every week we will be hosting a "Let's Get Wild!" event. You will have the option of attending either on Tuesdays from 12-3 OR Thursdays from 3-6. These are drop in events (come ANYTIME during those hours) BUT registration is REQUIRED for whichever day you choose. Sign Up Link will be posted the week prior.
