Nick's Kids Catfish Tournament - benefiting Habitat for Humanity of Walton County
◦ All anglers must be registered before 7 pm Friday, July 17, 2026
◦ Weigh-in 4 - 5:00 pm
◦ Weigh-in location: Nick’s Seafood Restaurant 7585 Hwy 20 West Freeport, FL 32439
ELIGIBILITY
◦ All anglers must be 14 years and younger on tournament date
◦ All anglers must be accompanied by a parent or adult at all times
◦ Entry fee of $50.00 must be paid upon registration (Proceeds to benefit Habitat for
Humanity of Walton County)

Hardhead Division - Total weight of (3) Hardhead Catfish
GRAND PRIZE: TRACKER MARINE BOAT - 2 & 3 PLACE: PRIZES AND TROPHIES
Sailcat Division - Single (1) heaviest Sailcat
1ST PLACE $300
2ND PLACE $200
3RD PLACE $100
◦ Tournament starts at safe daylight on Saturday, July 18, 2026
◦ Anglers may start from their desired location in the waters on or adjacent to the Choctawhatchee Bay in Walton County and estuaries thereof
◦ Boundaries: Walton County, Choctawhatchee Bay, Mid-Bay Bridge Eastward to Peach Creek/Choctawhatchee River
◦ Live or artificial bait is allowed
◦ Rod and Reel only; no trotlines, jugs, nets, or noodling
◦ Fish must be in fresh condition upon weigh-in
◦ Anglers must catch their own fish (adult help allowed)
◦ Each angler can submit their best (4) catfish for weigh-in (3) HARD HEAD, (1) SAILCAT
◦ Heaviest weight for single (1) SAILCAT and combined weight of (3) HARDHEAD
(saltwater species)
◦ Anglers must be checked-in with a tournament official by 5:00 p.m. to have catfish
scored
◦ Note: Catfish have three spines, use caution when handling fish (Cut line when the fish is in boat,
hooks are cheap)
