They will discuss the piece's history, the composer's influences and musical styles, and perform some selections from the piece. This is a great chance to learn more about this piece before you hear it in concert on July 22nd at Chamber Concert 1. We will also enjoy a special guest presentation from retired Cal Poly professor Eric Johnson, an expert in Bloch's lesser known skills as a photographer.
