Discovery Hall is an 80,000-square-foot expansion of the UNCW Randall Library, designed to enhance student learning and collaboration. It features a state-of-the-art recording studio, production studio, Visualization and Analysis lab, and a Digital Makerspace with 3D printers and a laser cutter. The hall also includes "The Lookout" lounge with campus views, a 75-person event space, and various study environments. The UNCW Library's mission is to foster student success, faculty scholarship, and community engagement by providing information resources, learner-centered services, and programming in a welcoming environment, aspiring to be the intellectual heart of the campus and community.
