Queer Book Club is a chance for staff and faculty to read, chat, and celebrate queer stories together. We will meet once a month during the lunch hour to discuss what we've read.
Our May book is Star Shipped by Cat Sebastian, a contemporary, enemies-to-lovers romance about two actors on a popular sci-fi TV show who pretend to be friends for the public, leading to an unexpected road trip and a slow-burn romance. Books can be acquired through your local library, Libby/Hoopla, a local bookstore (Chaucer's), an audiobook provider, or your favorite online retailer. You do not have to finish the book to join us, as long as you don't mind spoilers!
Our June book will be Sun and Steel by Yukio Mishima, in case you'd like to get started early. If you have questions, suggestions, or logistical needs, please email rexmiller@ucsb.edu.
