North Lamar Donor Center

Join us for a vital blood donation event at the North Lamar Donor Center and Millipore Sigma at KAPS Charter School, where your donation can make a significant impact. Donating whole blood involves providing a pint of blood, which is then separated into essential components—red cells, plasma, and platelets—that are sent to local hospitals to aid patients in need. We require approximately 200 donors each day to meet the local demand. The check-in process includes a brief personal history and wellness exam to ensure eligibility for donation. The entire experience typically lasts 45 minutes to an hour, with the actual donation taking about 15-35 minutes. Our friendly staff is dedicated to making your donation experience enjoyable and efficient.
