Texas A&M AgriLife Research will host the 2026 Horticulture Field Day on June 25 at the Texas A&M AgriLife Research and Extension Center at Overton. Attendees will have the chance to explore over 200 varieties of annual, perennial and vegetable plants cultivated for growers, retailers, landscapers and home gardeners and see how these plants perform in typical East Texas conditions. The day will start with field activities at the Overton East farm Horticulture Area, located on County Road 133, about a half mile north of the intersection of Highway 135, where attendees can tour bedding plant trials. The afternoon session will be held at the AgriLife Research and Extension Center located at 1710 Farm-to-Market Road 3053 N., and will include tours of the greenhouse and the demonstration garden.
