Established in 1880 by landowners Lucian Garcia Terra and Domingo Machado, San Luis Ranch has a rich agricultural heritage. By the 1890s, it transformed into the 16th District Agricultural Association’s Fairgrounds, showcasing prize-winning produce and horse racing. In 2014, Gary Grossman revitalized the property, restoring its glory and honoring its legacy. Today, SLO Ranch flourishes as a vibrant marketplace, offering unique local foods, artisan shops, and interactive farming experiences, embodying the essence of farm-to-table.
