Details:
Join us for the **Summer Reading 2026: Teen Watercolor Workshop**, a hands-on experience designed for teens aged 12-18 to explore the beauty of watercolor painting in a supportive environment. Whether you're a beginner or looking to reignite your artistic side, this workshop will teach you enjoyable techniques to create unique art pieces themed around animals. Participants will receive a curated palette of artist-grade watercolors and high-quality paper to enhance their experience. Local artist Kristina Eng will lead the class, and registration is required to secure your spot. This workshop is part of the 2026 Summer Reading Program: **Plant a Seed, Read**. For those needing accessibility accommodations, please fill out the online form at sccld.org/accessibility at least 7 days prior to the event. Sign up for the Summer Reading Program between June 1st and July 31st to earn rewards for reading five books and completing one activity. Track your progress online at the Beanstack platform or app, and collect your rewards at your local SCCLD library from August 1st to 31st while supplies last.
