Join Western Science Center Educator Margaret Ozolins for "60 Minute Science: Engineering in Motion," a fun, hands-on program designed for children ages 8-12 (parents are welcome too!). Discover the science of energy and motion as you build and race your own Spool Racers, and learn the secrets behind the motion of a Roll-Back-Can by engineering your own magic can. This engaging workshop will take place on July 25, 2026, at 11:00 AM, with doors opening 10 minutes prior. Registration is required, with a minimum of 3 participants and a maximum of 10. Tickets are $13 per person, and although museum admission is not included or required, members can call for a 10% discount. Please note that there are no refunds.
