Ema's Herbs, established in 1989 in Ventura, California, is a natural medicine practice founded by Ema Omanovic, a pharmacist with a Ph.D. in Pharmacy from Sarajevo University. The practice offers a range of herbal remedies, teas, and supplements, drawing from European and Native American herbal traditions, as well as Ema's personal research and experience. Ema's Herbs believes in the body's ability to heal itself and aims to empower clients through education and guidance. The business is now continued by Ema's daughter, Sara Omanovic, who also apprentices in herbal practices. They source herbs from various companies and small farms in the US and abroad. Ema's Herbs also provides herbalism courses and workshops.
