Faux Farm Livestock Show : Artist and Maker Contest (at the End of Summer Hoedown)
Thursday, August 13th at 6:30 p.m.
Yeehaw! Calling all Makers and Artists ! Create a one-of-a-kind critter using any medium you like. Papier-mâché, 3D printing, wood, needle felting, knitting, sewing, clay, paint— anything goes!
Your critter should fit our Reading Rodeo theme. Think cows, horses, goats, chickens, coyotes, quirky folklore creatures— or dream up a barnyard buddy of your own!
Drop‑off: August 13 during our End of Summer Hoedown 5:00–6:00 p.m.
Judging: 6:30 p.m. (must attend to win)
Four winners will be selected— one from each category. Each winner will receive a $25 gift card to Buena’s Organic Soft Serve and a special livestock show ribbon!
Rootin’est- Tootin’est! (biggest rodeo energy)
Tall-Tale Worthy (most imaginative)
Cutest little buckaroo (most endearing)
True Grit Award (best “effort”)
