Details:
The Brownsville Raid is back!!! In remembrance of the 100th anniversary of The Brownsville Raid (or Brownsville Affair), which took place August 13–14, 1906. It was a racial incident in Brownsville, Texas, where African-American soldiers of the 25th Infantry Regiment were falsely accused of shooting up the town, resulting in one of the largest injustices in U.S. military history.
This event will be an alley-cat styled race - you will gather an artifact from multiple historical points around town and bring back your evidence for your chance at a podium and finisher's medal. You will be able to do this race solo, or in a team of two. Find the quickest route (road, gravel, or trail) to gather your evidence, and race back to Texas Branding Iron for your chance to win!
Registration and more details coming soon!
