Out of the Box - Poetry Session One with Josephus III

Join us for "Out of the Box - Poetry Session One with Josephus III," an engaging poetry and spoken word workshop funded by the Arts Council of Greater Greensboro as part of our summer exhibit. Led by Greensboro’s first honorary poet laureate, Josephus III, this workshop invites middle school and rising middle school students to explore their creativity through innovative writing prompts. Participants will create a final project that beautifully frames their words, culminating in a showcase of their work, which will be filmed for documentation and displayed during the closing reception on August 29. The class is limited to 20 participants, and snacks and water will be provided. Enrollment costs $5 for both TAG members and non-members, with scholarships available upon request.
