Details:
Join us for a creative summer experience featuring two exciting workshops: "Build with Cardboard: Material & Process" and "Out of the Box - Poetry Session Two with Josephus III."
On June 27, bring the whole family to our bilingual cardboard workshop, where participants of all ages can learn the fundamentals of building with cardboard and engage in various art projects and crafts. The workshop runs from 1 pm to 4 pm, and snacks and water will be provided. Please note that children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult. This free event is supported by The Arts Council of Greater Greensboro and High Point Arts Council, with projects documented for display during our closing reception on August 29.
In addition, high school students are invited to "Out of the Box - Poetry Session Two with Josephus III," an engaging poetry and spoken word workshop. Participants will work on creative writing prompts with Greensboro’s first honorary poet laureate, culminating in a showcase of their poetic creations, also set for display during the closing reception. This workshop costs $5, with scholarships available for those in need. Snacks and water will be provided, and the class will be filmed for documentation.
Don't miss these opportunities to explore art and poetry in a supportive and inspiring environment!
