Details:
At almost three years old, Lilith is Southern Arizona's only registered therapy cat! She spends her time volunteering with children, adults with special needs, and elderly folks. Despite having a pampered life now, Lilith was found and rescued by her human two years ago and officially adopted. Her favorite snacks are anything with cheese. Her favorite toys are anything with feathers. And she loves a good pet on top of her head. Lilith is certified with the Alliance of Therapy Dogs. Like Read to a Dog, Read to a Cat is designed to allow young learners the chance to read to a non-judgmental listener, one who will accept the story exactly as it's read. For many children this allows them a rare chance to experience stress-free reading: they are able to relax and have fun while sharing a book.
