Robla Creek Sunset Trash/Invasive Removal 10.0, 7/20/26

RCWA will once again partner with Robla Park Community Association (RPCA) to remove trash and invasive vegetation from Robla Creek and its adjacent floodplain. This is an ecologically important riparian system that flows into Steelhead Creek near its confluence with Dry Creek.
Please park along the street at the intersection of Claire Ave. & Sully St. and arrive early to sign in.
Please bring along kayaks, canoes and strong fishing nets if you would like to help with hyacinth removal. Also, please bring along a beverage of your choice to toast the beautiful sunset!
We will provide bags, but please bring along your sturdy WATERPROOF footwear, waders, grabbers, buckets, cultivators, shovels and gloves - a limited number of loaner buckets and grabbers may be available. We will concentrate both on dry land and the water channel to remove debris and invasives. There will be water in the creek, possibly fairly deep in a few spots. Participants will be required to wear rain boots or waders if they intend to get into the water. Entry into any waters is always optional.
As with all events shared on our Page, participation is performed solely at your own risk. Please place safety FIRST and do only what you feel comfortable doing. Moreover, participants will be required to sign a Release and Waiver form if they have not done so previously.
