Join us for a vital blood donation drive at the North Lamar Donor Center, hosted by Millipore Sigma and KAPS Charter School. Your donation of whole blood, which involves giving a pint that will be separated into red cells, plasma, and platelets for local transfusions, is essential to meet the daily goal of 200 donations to support local patients in need. The entire process, from check-in to refreshments, typically takes 45 minutes to an hour, with the actual donation lasting 15-35 minutes. Prior to donating, you'll receive a brief personal history and wellness exam to ensure your eligibility.
